Slowbro collecting questions

Can I use this as a Slowbro master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 31 card listings and 53 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 35 card listings and 36 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Slowbro collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Slowbro, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Slowbro Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.19 to $329.99 USD, across 27 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.18 to $200.00 USD, across 27 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Slowbro card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Slowbro cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.19 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.18 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Slowbro cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 14 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 18 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 11 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 17 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

Where did Japanese Slowbro 005/T come from?

It was an insert in Pokémon Card Trainers volume 15 in March 2002. The issue also supplied matching Slowpoke 004/T and Slowking 006/T promos.

Were Slowbro-EX and M Slowbro-EX originally Japanese booster cards?

These designs first appeared as Japanese 262/XY-P and 263/XY-P promos in the 20th Anniversary Special Pack: M Slowbro-EX + Surfing Pikachu on September 16, 2016. English Evolutions subsequently included them as 26/108 and 27/108. The 2016 M Slowbro-EX is distinct from newer Mega Slowbro ex cards.

Why does Dark Slowbro have both 12/82 and 29/82?

Team Rocket used the same Dark Slowbro design for holo 12/82 and non-holo 29/82. The Japanese Rocket Gang original was holo; later non-holo Pokémon Web and holo Legendary Collection reprints belong to their own releases.
