Slowpoke collecting questions

Can I use this as a Slowpoke master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 45 card listings and 76 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 50 card listings and 51 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Slowpoke collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Slowpoke, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Slowpoke Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.17 to $1,000.00 USD, across 41 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.13 to $300.00 USD, across 32 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Slowpoke card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Slowpoke cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.17 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.13 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Slowpoke cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 25 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 30 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 16 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 24 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

What is the Japanese unnumbered Slowpoke promo?

Ken Sugimori’s Slowpoke was supplied with official Red, Green and Black TCG Playmats from May 2, 1997, at Pokémon Centers and some toy shops. It was later reprinted in Pokémon Web with an e-Card layout; the original promo was never physically released in English.

Why are there different stamped Generations Slowpoke cards?

The ordinary card, Canadian Toys R Us giveaway and UK GAME 20th Anniversary promotion share the Generations 32/83 illustration. Their stamps identify separate distributions. The Canadian giveaway was September 17, 2016; the exact UK giveaway day remains unconfirmed.

Are Galarian Slowpoke SWSH126 and Japanese 172/S-P the same release?

They share sowsow’s illustration but came from different promotions. English SWSH126 is the Cosmos holo from Evolving Skies Single Pack Blisters, released August 27, 2021. Japanese 172/S-P is a non-holo Friendly Shop campaign card with a logo, distributed from March 19, 2021.
