Raticate collecting questions

Can I use this as a Raticate master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 31 card listings and 54 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 34 card listings and 38 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Raticate collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Raticate, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Raticate Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.05 to $97.33 USD, across 30 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.09 to $18.37 USD, across 27 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Raticate card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Raticate cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.05 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.09 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Raticate cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 26 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 28 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 21 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 25 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

Where did Alolan Raticate-GX 161/SM-P come from?

It was a Japanese Pokémon Card Gym promotional-pack card distributed from December 2017. The print has a Gym logo and 5ban Graphics artwork; English Celestial Storm later released that artwork as 85/168.

The shared campaign sources disagree on the ending month, so only the supported start is used here. The Japanese promo remains in the checklist even if a usable price is missing.

Is the gold Raticate BREAK a different card from ordinary Raticate?

Yes. English BREAKpoint 89/122 and Japanese Rage of the Broken Heavens 066/080 are Pokémon BREAK cards, with the mechanic’s distinctive gold Pokémon artwork. They are separate cards from ordinary Raticate.

The standard-size BREAK card is included in this collection. Oversized products are excluded, and normal/reverse-holo finishes of other Raticate cards cannot substitute for it in the checklist.

Which Lt. Surge’s Raticate was reprinted in Pokémon TCG Classic?

The Gym Heroes 51/132 card was reprinted as a foil in the Blastoise & Suicune ex deck. Classic uses 016/034 in English and 016/032 in Japanese.

It retains an owner name but is a Raticate Pokémon card. The modern deck release and original Gym printing remain separate set identities, with their own dates and prices.
