Spearow collecting questions

Can I use this as a Spearow master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 20 card listings and 37 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 25 card listings and 28 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Spearow collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Spearow, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Spearow Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.11 to $149.99 USD, across 20 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.09 to $19.24 USD, across 14 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Spearow card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Spearow cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.11 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.09 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Spearow cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 20 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 20 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 12 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 12 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

Are Lt. Surge’s Spearow 52/132 and 83/132 duplicates?

They are different Gym Heroes cards, with separate illustrations and card text. The Japanese counterparts come from the Kuchiba City Gym deck and Leaders’ Stadium, respectively.

Both belong in a Spearow collection. First Edition and Unlimited versions of each card share that card’s ranking position; the two numbered cards remain separate.

Where did Japanese Spearow 009/018 come from?

It was supplied in the Latios ex Half Deck of the Japanese Gift Box. The related English card is EX Sandstorm 81/100.

The Japanese deck card has a different set number and release identity. It stays in the checklist even if a price is missing, and enters a price ranking only when a usable price is available.

What is the unnumbered Vending Spearow?

Kagemaru Himeno illustrated this Japanese Expansion Sheet 2 card, also catalogued as Vending Series 2 (Red). It is separate from Jungle Spearow and later numbered releases.

The checklist preserves its unnumbered identity. Pokédex number 021 is not a collector number to insert on the card.
