Rattata collecting questions

Can I use this as a Rattata master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 29 card listings and 54 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 35 card listings and 38 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Rattata collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Rattata, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Rattata Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.06 to $229.98 USD, across 28 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.10 to $40.36 USD, across 27 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Rattata card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Rattata cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.06 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.10 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Rattata cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 25 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 25 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 23 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 25 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

Is Alolan Rattata 160/SM-P a pack card or a tournament promo?

It is a Japanese Pokémon Card Gym promotional-pack card distributed from December 2017, illustrated by Shibuzoh. The artwork later appeared in English Celestial Storm as 84/168.

Sources differ on the campaign’s ending month, so no exact end date is claimed here. It remains in the collection whether or not a usable price is available.

Why does Rumble Rattata have game graphics instead of a usual artist credit?

The Pokémon Rumble collection was tied to the WiiWare game and uses the Pokémon’s in-game appearance. The card lists Pokémon Rumble in its illustrator box and displays the game logo.

The English collection was released on 2 December 2009 and the Japanese Pokémon Scramble collection on 10 July 2009. Their language and numbering identities stay separate.

Why is Lt. Surge’s Rattata in the modern Classic collection?

Pokémon Trading Card Game Classic reprints it as a foil card in the Blastoise & Suicune ex deck. Its numbers are 015/034 in English and 015/032 in Japanese.

It is an owner-named Rattata Pokémon card and belongs in this collection, alongside its older Gym releases. The Classic deck card has its own release identity and should not inherit a Gym set’s year.
