Pidgeot collecting questions

Can I use this as a Pidgeot master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 28 card listings and 43 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 32 card listings and 33 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Pidgeot collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Pidgeot, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Pidgeot Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.13 to $215.47 USD, across 24 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.16 to $40.00 USD, across 23 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Pidgeot card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Pidgeot cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.13 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.16 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Pidgeot cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 11 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 15 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 13 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 14 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

Where did Japanese Pidgeot 073/PCG-P come from?

It was a Meiji Chocolate campaign card available from 28 June 2005, with artwork by Ken Sugimori. The illustration later appeared as English POP Series 2 2/17.

It is not an ordinary Japanese booster-pack print. Match 073/PCG-P rather than the shared Pokémon name when comparing its release and price.

Was the holo POP Series 2 Pidgeot available in POP packs?

The Cosmos Holofoil version was supplied in EX Crystal Guardians blisters around August/September 2006. The normal POP Series 2 card and the later blister foil share one imported catalogue listing here.

The checklist keeps both imported finishes and their individual prices. The displayed set year is not a separate verified distribution date for each finish; the origin note explains the later holo release.

Why do English and Japanese Southern Islands Pidgeot have different dates and numbers?

Japanese Southern Islands was released on 17 July 1999, while the English collection arrived on 31 July 2001. English Pidgeot is 2/18; the Japanese print is unnumbered.

Both are included in their own language checklist. These are fixed special-collection cards, so neither language should be described as a normal booster-pack pull.
