Pidgeotto collecting questions

Can I use this as a Pidgeotto master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 19 card listings and 32 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 27 card listings and 29 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Pidgeotto collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Pidgeotto, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Pidgeotto Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.23 to $216.66 USD, across 17 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.11 to $37.50 USD, across 18 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Pidgeotto card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Pidgeotto cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.23 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.11 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Pidgeotto cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 12 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 13 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 15 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 15 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

Where did Alto Mare’s Pidgeotto 010/018 come from?

It belongs to Japan’s Theater Limited VS Pack, a fixed half deck released on 13 July 2002 and tied to the fifth Pokémon movie’s Alto Mare setting. It is included as a named Pidgeotto Pokémon card.

This print remains in the Japanese checklist even if a price is missing. It can enter the automatic ranking whenever a usable price is available.

Are Trainer Kit Pidgeotto 2/30 and 23/30 different artworks?

Both reprint Shin Nagasawa’s Flashfire Pidgeotto illustration in the Wigglytuff Half Deck of XY Trainer Kit: Bisharp & Wigglytuff. The numbers indicate different teaching positions.

The checklist retains both imported positions; equivalent teaching-position prints share one ranking identity. Flashfire 76/106 remains its own set release.

Which Pidgeotto is the Obsidian Flames illustration rare?

It is 208/197, illustrated by Jerky, with Japanese Ruler of the Black Flame counterpart 119/108. The ordinary Pidgeotto is 163/197, illustrated by Kariya.

The larger scene is a separate artwork, not a reverse-holo finish of the regular card. Both can appear separately in price guides when they have usable prices.
