Rhyhorn collecting questions

Can I use this as a Rhyhorn master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 28 card listings and 52 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 28 card listings and 33 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Rhyhorn collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Rhyhorn, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Rhyhorn Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.08 to $84.77 USD, across 27 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.05 to $12.64 USD, across 23 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Rhyhorn card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Rhyhorn cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.08 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.05 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Rhyhorn cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 23 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 25 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 16 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 22 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

Are the two Brock’s Rhyhorn cards in Gym Heroes the same design?

No. Gym Heroes 22/132 is the 60 HP Ken Sugimori design originally supplied in the Japanese Nivi City Gym deck. Gym Heroes 70/132 is a separate Rhyhorn card from the Japanese Leaders’ Stadium expansion. Their owner name does not make them one artwork.

Why does Sword & Shield have Rhyhorn 096/202 and 097/202?

These are separate designs. The 100 HP 096/202 card is illustrated by Sekio and came from the Japanese Shield expansion. The 90 HP 097/202 card is illustrated by sui and originated in the Japanese V Starter Set Fighting deck as 003/024. They are not holo and nonholo numbers for one illustration.

Why are there two Rhyhorn numbers in the Latias & Latios Trainer Kit?

The Latios Half Deck contains the same Rhyhorn design at 15/30 and 23/30. The card first appeared in Primal Clash and Japanese Gaia Volcano, then was reused in that teaching deck, the 2015 McDonald’s collection and Generations. The two Trainer Kit slots share the illustration while remaining separate checklist numbers.
