Rhydon collecting questions

Can I use this as a Rhydon master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 22 card listings and 40 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 25 card listings and 30 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Rhydon collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Rhydon, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Rhydon Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.06 to $300.00 USD, across 20 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.08 to $54.98 USD, across 16 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Rhydon card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Rhydon cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.06 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.08 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Rhydon cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 16 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 17 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 11 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 12 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

What is the difference between Skyridge Rhydon H27 and 29?

H27/H32 is the holo-numbered Rhydon; 29/144 is the non-holo/reverse listing of the same Mitsuhiro Arita card. The Japanese Split Earth counterparts are 055/088 and 054/088.

Keep each finish in your checklist, but compare the exact finish when buying. These equivalent printings share one position in each language’s automatic rankings.

Which release is Japanese Brock’s Rhydon from?

Brock’s Rhydon appeared in Japan’s Nivi City Gym theme deck before being reprinted in Leaders’ Stadium. The English version is Gym Heroes 2/132.

The deck and expansion are separate catalogue releases even where the artwork matches. Do not use Pokédex number 112 as a collector number for an unnumbered Japanese card.

Why does Rhydon have Trainer Kit numbers 4/30 and 25/30?

The Latios half of the 2015 XY Trainer Kit includes Rhydon in two fixed deck positions, 4 and 25. Both reuse the Primal Clash illustration; the deck numbers help follow the teaching game.

Japanese promo 113/XY-P is different: it was distributed through Gym Promotional Card Pack 4 in February–April 2015 and has alternate artwork and the Card Gym logo.

Is Rhydon 112/165 an illustration rare in 151?

English 151 Rhydon 112/165 is an uncommon, not an illustration rare. Japanese Pokémon Card 151 also has regular, Poké Ball and Master Ball versions of 112/165; the reflective pattern changes the finish rather than creating an illustration rare artwork.

Check the language, collector number and pattern together. The full checklist keeps those imported finishes separate, while a calculated ranking uses one family per card.
