Marowak collecting questions

Can I use this as a Marowak master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 27 card listings and 47 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 29 card listings and 30 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Marowak collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Marowak, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Marowak Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.12 to $250.00 USD, across 22 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.10 to $83.16 USD, across 18 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Marowak card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Marowak cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.12 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.10 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Marowak cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 16 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 17 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 15 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 17 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

What is the unnumbered Japanese Vending Marowak?

Sumiyoshi Kizuki illustrated the 60 HP Marowak in Expansion Sheet 2, released June 17, 1998. It is a different design from Jungle Marowak and retains its unnumbered Japanese identity. The number 105 in its Pokédex panel is not a collector number.

Where did Alolan Marowak-GX SM187 come from?

English SM187 was included in the Alolan Marowak-GX Box released May 3, 2019. Japanese 252/SM-P was distributed earlier in Gym tournament promotional packs during September, October and November 2018 and features the Gym logo. The regular-size card and the oversized box card are different product formats.

Why is Japanese Marowak 169/XY-P dated earlier than Fates Collide?

The Japanese card was available in Pokémon Card Gym tournament promotional packs from November 2015 through January 2016 and carries the Gym logo. English Fates Collide 37/124 followed in 2016, so the Japanese promo’s first distribution year is 2015.
