Ivysaur collecting questions

Can I use this as a Ivysaur master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 26 card listings and 40 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 31 card listings and 33 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Ivysaur collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Ivysaur, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Ivysaur Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.21 to $145.00 USD, across 23 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.16 to $39.99 USD, across 20 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Ivysaur card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

  • Japanese: 10 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 16 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

How do Ivysaur 002/165, 167/165 and 002/049 differ?

151 regular card 002/165 has Yuu Nishida’s artwork; illustration rare 167/165 has Yoriyuki Ikegami’s full-card scene. The Japanese 002/049 is a regular-art reprint in the Venusaur & Charizard & Blastoise Special Deck Set ex.

Keep set, language and number together. The 002/049 deck card is not the 167/165 illustration rare.

Where did Dark Ivysaur and its Winner stamp come from?

Japan’s unnumbered Dark Ivysaur was a Trainers magazine Volume 10 insert in March 2001. It has a GB symbol and Neo-era layout.

English Best of Game 6 was distributed at BattleZone events in April 2003, with a Winner-stamped version for qualifying winners. This checklist excludes the separate oversized version.

Why is Southern Islands Ivysaur numbered in English but unnumbered in Japanese?

The English Southern Islands card is 5/18; its Japanese counterpart is unnumbered. Both use Keiko Fukuyama’s illustration.

An absent collector number does not automatically make a Japanese card incomplete or ineligible for this collection. Compare the language and named release.
