Dewgong collecting questions

Can I use this as a Dewgong master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 21 card listings and 38 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 22 card listings and 25 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Dewgong collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Dewgong, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Dewgong Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.10 to $449.99 USD, across 18 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.11 to $33.69 USD, across 17 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Dewgong card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Dewgong cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.10 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.11 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Dewgong cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 16 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 16 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 13 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 14 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

Are Skyridge Dewgong 7/144 and H6/H32 the same artwork?

Both use Kouki Saitou’s Dewgong illustration. Skyridge separates the holo print at H6/H32 from the regular-numbered 7/144. Japanese Mysterious Mountains uses 025/088 and 024/088 for the corresponding versions.

Why is Delta Species Dewgong a Colorless-type card?

The Delta Species Dewgong in EX Dragon Frontiers 15/101 is printed as Colorless, rather than the usual Water type. Atsuko Nishida illustrated it, and Japanese Offense and Defense of the Furthest Ends includes the corresponding 048/068. This is a distinct design from Base Set and Skyridge Dewgong.

What is the unnumbered Japanese Vending Dewgong?

Atsuko Nishida’s Dewgong was a glossy card on sheet seven of Expansion Sheet 2, released June 17, 1998. Its non-glossy Quick Starter Gift Set Red Deck reprint is a separate distribution; the imported Vending record is retained as the sheet release.
