Grimer collecting questions

Can I use this as a Grimer master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 25 card listings and 50 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 30 card listings and 36 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Grimer collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Grimer, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Grimer Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.05 to $159.99 USD, across 25 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.10 to $45.84 USD, across 27 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Grimer card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Grimer cards to collect?

Which Grimer cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 24 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 24 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 21 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 23 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

Why does Team Rocket Grimer differ between English and Japanese?

Kagemaru Himeno’s illustration was altered for English Team Rocket 57/82 by repositioning Grimer’s pupils. The attack also changed: Japanese Rocket Gang’s Poison Gas causes Poisoned, while the English card causes Asleep. These are language-specific differences within the same card design.

Which Grimer is the unnumbered Japanese Vending card?

Shin-ichi Yoshida illustrated the 50 HP Grimer from Japanese Expansion Sheet 2, released June 17, 1998. It is a glossy sheet card with a separate illustration from Fossil and Team Rocket Grimer. Its Pokédex number is not substituted for a missing collector number.

Which Grimer card shows Team Magma Grunts?

kawayoo illustrated Team Aqua’s Grimer 7/34 in Double Crisis and Japanese 007/034. A pair of Team Magma Grunts appears in its artwork. This owner’s Pokémon card is distinct from ordinary Grimer and the later Alolan Grimer designs.
