! Educated estimate · Limited evidence

Educated estimates informed by community openings and explicit assumptions, not official or measured individual-card odds. Exact artwork and finish frequencies can differ greatly. Box and case chances use independent packs; real factory collation and fixed box contents can change the result.

Chance of pulling at least one

Estimated chance: ≈68%

Box, case and custom quantities use an independent-pack approximation. Factory collation is not modelled; no card is guaranteed.

What do these odds mean?

These are estimates from community opening reports and stated assumptions. Equal selection within a tier is unverified. The calculator gives an approximate chance of at least one copy; sealed-box collation can change it.

How this card’s estimate is calculated

Educated estimate: uses assumed rarity-slot frequencies and equally weighted cards within the reviewed tier. Exact card frequencies and slot replacement are unverified. Uses approximately 449.7 R cards per 288-pack reference case, divided across 34 assumed artwork identities. This is the chance for this exact printing, not any card in its tier. Reviewed 2026-11-06 UTC. Factory collation can cluster cards; box and case odds use an independent-pack approximation.

Steel Requiem: research & limitations

13 cards per booster, 24 packs per box and 12 boxes in the reference case. Reviewed 2026-11-06 (UTC).

Bandai product contents establish packaging and card-type counts, not individual pull probabilities. Every positive value is an educated estimate. Equal weighting within each named pool is an assumption; artwork frequencies can differ.

Pools are frozen to the reviewed exact English printing identities. New sets, artworks and finishes require a fresh review. Source rarity symbols alone do not distinguish special cards, Link Rares, resources or ordinary alternates.

Early booster slots use the GD01 community description: six commons, four uncommons, two rare-or-better cards and a resource/token slot. Later GD02–GD04 low-rarity and resource frequencies are an explicitly unverified analogy. One C++ replaces part of the parallel-resource allowance in the model; the exact replacement slot is unverified.

The token denominator is at least the official token-type count, including tokens absent from this source group, to avoid concentrating all token odds onto a partial catalogue pool. Generic EX Base and EX Resource availability is an unverified allocation.

LR++ uses an illustrative one-per-36-box prior, not a measured rate. This GD01 assumption is extrapolated to all later reviewed boosters because reliable chase samples are insufficient. Case reports conflict; a case never guarantees a chase. Box and 12-box reference-case probabilities assume independent packs.

Sources: Bandai English product contents; English GD01 pack and box opening reports; GD03 unequal special-card case reports; GD03 versus GD04 case reports; GD01 expected-value model, chase prior only. These sources describe product contents or community experience; none measures every exact card’s probability. The full evidence ledger is retained for review.

The model uses assumed tier frequencies and fixed reviewed card pools. It does not infer rarity from price, and an absent price does not remove a card from its pool. A conditional estimate does not confirm that the exact printing appears in boosters.
