Weezing collecting questions

Can I use this as a Weezing master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 31 card listings and 57 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 33 card listings and 38 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Weezing collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Weezing, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Weezing Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.05 to $74.11 USD, across 28 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.08 to $82.54 USD, across 27 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Weezing card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Weezing cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.05 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.08 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Weezing cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 25 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 28 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 22 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 23 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

Are Expedition Weezing 32/165 and 70/165 the same artwork?

Both use Hajime Kusajima’s Weezing design. Number 32/165 is the holo-numbered card and 70/165 the non-holo-numbered card; Japanese Base Expansion Pack uses 101/128 and 069/128 respectively. Their e-Reader identifiers are B-70 and B-70-#, and this card has no long e-Reader strip.

Why does Dark Weezing have both 14/82 and 31/82?

Team Rocket used the same Dark Weezing design for holo 14/82 and non-holo 31/82. Its Japanese Rocket Gang original was holo. Pokémon Web later reprinted the non-holo design as 021/048 in its e-Card layout, as a separate release.

Where did Weezing XY163 and Japanese 240/XY-P come from?

English XY163 was supplied in Evolutions Single Pack Blisters in 2016. Japanese 240/XY-P was a Pokémon Card Gym-logo card in special promotional packs given to tournament participants from May through July 2016. Both use TOKIYA’s Weezing illustration, but came from different promotions.
