Weedle collecting questions

Can I use this as a Weedle master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 27 card listings and 49 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 30 card listings and 37 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Weedle collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Weedle, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Weedle Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.07 to $143.09 USD, across 26 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.10 to $44.86 USD, across 25 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Weedle card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Weedle cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.07 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.10 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Weedle cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 23 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 23 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 22 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 23 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

Why are there two different Weedle cards in Skyridge?

They are separate illustrations: 114/144 is by Keiko Fukuyama, while 115/144 is by Sumiyoshi Kizuki. Their Japanese counterparts are Mysterious Mountains 001/088 and 002/088.

Different card numbers and artworks stay separate in the collection and rankings; finishes of an individual card share its ranking position.

Where did the foil Weedle 1/12 come from?

It is the Confetti Holofoil reprint in McDonald’s Collection 2014, reusing the Kalos Starter Set card’s illustration. In the US it was distributed through Happy Meals from 23 May to 12 June 2014; other regions used different dates.

The set number 1/12 identifies the meal promotion, while the starter-set version is 1/39. Match the set and foil rather than buying on the name alone.

Is the unnumbered Japanese Vending Weedle a real checklist card?

Yes. It is a Japanese Expansion Sheet 1 card illustrated by Tomokazu Komiya. Its missing collector number is retained as unnumbered; the species’ Pokédex number 013 must not replace it.

It remains in the Japanese checklist, separately from numbered 151 Weedle and Koga’s Weedle.
