Torchic collecting questions

Can I use this as a Torchic master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 39 card listings and 61 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 34 card listings and 42 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Torchic collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Torchic, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Torchic Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.17 to $4,000.00 USD, across 32 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.12 to $99.99 USD, across 27 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Torchic card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Torchic cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.17 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.12 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Torchic cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 24 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 27 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 14 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 18 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

Is Kids’ WB! Torchic an official playable card?

It is an official 2004 contest promo, but the card is marked Not Tournament Legal. Its child-created contest illustration and 3/5 number distinguish it from normal expansion Torchic cards.

How can I distinguish the two English Torchic 017 promos?

The February 2004 Target printing is non-holo with an e-Reader Dot Code strip. The October 2004 EX Deck Tin printing is holo and omits the Dot Code area.
