Tentacruel collecting questions

Can I use this as a Tentacruel master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 17 card listings and 31 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 19 card listings and 22 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Tentacruel collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Tentacruel, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Tentacruel Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.16 to $183.54 USD, across 15 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.12 to $45.00 USD, across 12 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Tentacruel card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Tentacruel cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.16 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.12 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Tentacruel cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 12 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 12 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 8 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 10 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

Are Aquapolis Tentacruel H26/H32 and 38/147 the same artwork?

Both use Hajime Kusajima’s illustration. H26/H32 is the holo-numbered card; 38/147 has non-holo and reverse-holo versions. The corresponding Japanese Wind from the Sea cards are 030/087 and 029/087.

Where did the stamped Tentacruel 45/92 come from?

It was the EX Legend Maker Prerelease promo. Its event distribution distinguishes it from the ordinary expansion versions, although the collector number is shared.

Does Southern Islands Tentacruel have the same text in English and Japanese?

The original Japanese Poison Sting attack inflicted Poison. The English Southern Islands 10/18 changed the effect to Paralysis. The two language releases therefore differ in more than their printed language.
