Seaking collecting questions

Can I use this as a Seaking master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 22 card listings and 37 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 19 card listings and 22 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Seaking collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Seaking, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Seaking Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.11 to $84.25 USD, across 19 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.07 to $11.91 USD, across 15 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Seaking card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Seaking cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.11 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.

Which Seaking cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 18 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 18 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 13 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 14 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

Why does the Suicune Trainer Kit have Seaking 12/30 and 25/30?

Both positions use the BREAKthrough 28/162 Seaking design. The XY Trainer Kit: Pikachu Libre & Suicune assigns collector numbers to match its tutorial deck order, so its Suicune Half Deck has Seaking at both 12/30 and 25/30. The kit was released April 27, 2016.

Which Seaking has the Ripping Horn attack?

Sword & Shield 047/202 and Japanese Shield 011/060 use Shibuzoh.’s Seaking illustration with Ripping Horn. The attack flips three coins and discards an Energy from the opponent’s Active Pokémon for each heads. This is a different design from the Seaking cards in the older Suicune and Manaphy Trainer Kits.

Where did Misty’s Seaking 55/132 first appear?

Ken Sugimori’s Misty’s Seaking originated in the Japanese Hanada City Gym deck and later appeared in English Gym Heroes as 55/132. It evolves from Misty’s Goldeen and has Horn Attack and Mud Splash. The owner’s name identifies a separate card from ordinary Seaking.
