Scizor collecting questions

Can I use this as a Scizor master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 40 card listings and 54 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 43 card listings and 44 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Scizor collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Scizor, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Scizor Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.22 to $600.00 USD, across 34 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.21 to $299.99 USD, across 28 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Scizor card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Scizor cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.22 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.

Which Scizor cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 10 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 14 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 15 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 18 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

Was Scizor 33 originally a CoroCoro card?

The Japanese version was an unnumbered insert in CoroCoro’s July 2000 issue, sold on 15 June. The English Wizards promo 33 followed through the Pokémon League in June 2001. The two releases have different dates and checklist entries.

Why is Rocket’s Scizor a Basic Pokémon?

Rocket’s Scizor 4 uses the Japanese VS-style design, which treats the named Trainer’s Pokémon as Basic cards. English BattleZone copies appeared in March 2003 with or without a gold Winner stamp. The oversized version is a separate collectible outside this standard-card checklist.
