Paras collecting questions

Can I use this as a Paras master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 20 card listings and 37 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 31 card listings and 35 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Paras collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Paras, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Paras Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.08 to $40.00 USD, across 20 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.09 to $55.00 USD, across 23 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Paras card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Paras cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.08 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.09 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Paras cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 17 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 20 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 18 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 20 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

Which Japanese Paras matches Crown Zenith GG32?

VSTAR Universe 207/172 is the Japanese counterpart, with Kouki Saitou artwork. Regular Lost Origin 004/196 and Dark Phantasma 001/071 use a different Mizue illustration.

Where did Paras 298/SM-P come from?

It was a Japanese Pokémon Card Gym participant promo-pack card distributed from December 2018 through February 2019. OOYAMA’s illustration later appeared in Hidden Fates, rather than the Naoyo Kimura artwork on Team Up 6/181.

How can I identify the Japanese Vending Paras?

Look for Mitsuhiro Arita’s illustration with Scratch and Scatter Spores. It is an unnumbered 1998 Expansion Sheet 1 card, separate from Jungle Paras; do not treat its Pokédex data as a collector number.
