Mankey collecting questions

Can I use this as a Mankey master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 28 card listings and 53 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 34 card listings and 37 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Mankey collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Mankey, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Mankey Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.04 to $164.99 USD, across 27 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.06 to $200.00 USD, across 27 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Mankey card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Mankey cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.04 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.06 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Mankey cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 24 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 26 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 25 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 25 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

Why is there a Cosmos Holo Mankey with a Paldea Evolved number?

The Annihilape ex Box supplied a foil Mankey alongside foil Primeape and Annihilape ex. Mankey keeps 106/193, so its box Cosmos finish is a separate checklist version of the Paldea Evolved artwork.

Where did the unnumbered How I Became a Pokémon Card Mankey come from?

It accompanied volume 1 of Kagemaru Himeno’s manga in May 1999. Its different artwork distinguishes it from the Jungle Mankey; the printed Pokédex number 056 is not a collector number.

Are the two Brock’s Mankey artworks and the CoroCoro print separate cards?

Gym Heroes has Brock’s Mankey 67/132 and 68/132. The Japanese 67 artwork came from the Nivi City Gym deck; a different illustration was supplied as a glossy CoroCoro promotional printing. These exact releases stay separate in the collection.
