Machop collecting questions

Can I use this as a Machop master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 29 card listings and 51 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 32 card listings and 38 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Machop collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Machop, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Machop Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.19 to $210.00 USD, across 27 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.12 to $39.93 USD, across 19 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Machop card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Machop cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.19 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.12 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Machop cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 24 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 24 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 16 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 16 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

Why are there Machop cards numbered 11/30 and 28/30?

Both belong to the Latios teaching deck in the 2015 XY Trainer Kit. They reuse Kouki Saitou’s Furious Fists 44/111 artwork; their numbers mark different positions in the example battle.

Are Guardians Rising Machop 62/145 and 63/145 the same card?

They are separate card designs. Number 63 originated in the Japanese Rockruff Full Power Deck and later gained a Confetti Holofoil McDonald’s 2018 reprint; number 62 originated in Islands Await You.

Is Giovanni’s Machop part of the ordinary Base Set Machop line?

Giovanni’s Machop is a separate owner-named card: English Gym Challenge 72/132 and its Japanese Challenge from the Darkness counterpart. It is included alongside ordinary Machop cards, with its own artwork and listing.
