Luxio collecting questions

Can I use this as a Luxio master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 29 card listings and 48 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 28 card listings and 31 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Luxio collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Luxio, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Luxio Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.09 to $174.00 USD, across 21 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.15 to $20.00 USD, across 24 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Luxio card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Luxio cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.09 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.15 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Luxio cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 18 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 20 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 20 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 22 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

Are Luxio’s Diamond & Pearl and POP Series 8 cards the same illustration?

No. Diamond & Pearl 52/130 uses Ken Sugimori artwork, while POP Series 8 8/17 uses Kagemaru Himeno artwork. The POP illustration also appears on Japan’s July 2007 Meiji chocolate promo 040/DP-P.

Why are there regular and Staff prerelease Luxio cards?

Luxio 52/130 was the Diamond & Pearl prerelease promo. Event staff received an additional gold Staff stamp. Both belong to the same artwork family, but the stamped versions remain separate collectible checklist entries.
