Kangaskhan collecting questions

Can I use this as a Kangaskhan master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 43 card listings and 62 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 47 card listings and 49 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Kangaskhan collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Kangaskhan, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Kangaskhan Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.13 to $210.00 USD, across 37 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.10 to $50.00 USD, across 37 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Kangaskhan card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Kangaskhan cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.13 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.10 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Kangaskhan cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 24 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 30 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 26 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 30 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

What is the Parent/Child tournament Kangaskhan promo?

This unnumbered Japanese Kangaskhan was a prize for parent-and-child teams at the 1998 Garura Parent/Child tournaments. It features the original Pocket Monsters Trading Card Game logo as its expansion symbol and is a different design from Jungle Kangaskhan. The available evidence supports the year 1998; it does not justify a fixed surviving-population claim.

Are Jungle Kangaskhan 5/64 and 21/64 different artworks?

They are the holo and nonholo numbered versions of the same Jungle design. Japanese Pokémon Jungle originally included the holo version; the nonholo design was later reprinted in Base Set 2. The individual editions and finishes remain separate checklist versions.

How does Vending Kangaskhan differ from its Quick Starter reprint?

Masako Yamashita’s Kangaskhan appeared on glossy sheets seven and eight of Expansion Sheet 3, released November 24, 1998. The Green Deck of the Quick Starter Gift Set later reprinted the design without gloss. This collection’s imported Vending product identifies the sheet release.
