Haunter collecting questions

Can I use this as a Haunter master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 39 card listings and 68 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 40 card listings and 41 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Haunter collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Haunter, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Haunter Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.15 to $500.00 USD, across 35 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.14 to $371.99 USD, across 27 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Haunter card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Haunter cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.15 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.14 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Haunter cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 22 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 26 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 14 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 17 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

Why are there two unnumbered Japanese Vending Haunter cards?

Expansion Sheet 3 contains separate Haunter designs: Nobuyuki Habu’s 60 HP card and Sumiyoshi Kizuki’s 70 HP card. They are distinct illustrations in the same 1998 sheet release. Kizuki’s design appeared on glossy sheet three and was later reprinted without gloss in the Quick Starter Gift Set Green Deck.

Are Fossil Haunter 6/62 and 21/62 different artworks?

They are the holo and nonholo numbered versions of the same Fossil design. Japanese Mystery of the Fossils originally included the holo version; the nonholo design was later reprinted in Legendary Collection. The finishes and editions remain distinct checklist versions.

Where did the full-art Haunter MEP027 promo come from?

Arai Kiriko’s full-art Haunter was included in the Mega Gengar ex Mega Battle Deck, released internationally on October 24, 2025. Its Japanese counterpart is 022/021 from the MEGA Starter Set Mega Gengar ex, released September 5, 2025. The regular Haunter design in those decks is illustrated by Rianti Hidayat and is a separate illustration.
