Gloom collecting questions

Can I use this as a Gloom master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 31 card listings and 54 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 35 card listings and 39 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Gloom collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Gloom, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Gloom Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.09 to $65.34 USD, across 27 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.06 to $14.84 USD, across 27 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Gloom card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Gloom cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.09 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.06 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Gloom cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 22 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 25 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 23 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 26 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

Which Gloom is the Obsidian Flames illustration rare?

Masako Tomii illustrated 198/197, paired with Japanese Ruler of the Black Flame 109/108. The regular 002/197 and Japanese 002/108 cards use Haru Akasaka artwork, so the two illustrations remain separate ranking entries.

Is every Psychic-type Gloom a Delta Species card?

No. Midori Harada’s EX Holon Phantoms 42/110 and Japanese Holon Phantom 025/052 carry the δ designation. Later Psychic-type Gloom also exists without it, including Legends Awakened prints. Check the Delta Species label and collector number.

What does the blue 6 on Gloom 5/147 mean?

It marks teaching position 6 in the Alolan Ninetales half of the 2018 Trainer Kit. This reprint retains the Burning Shadows collector number 5/147 and has its own checklist entry.
