Emolga collecting questions

Can I use this as a Emolga master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 21 card listings and 34 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 32 card listings and 34 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Emolga collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Emolga, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Emolga Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.09 to $85.89 USD, across 19 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.10 to $12.35 USD, across 18 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Emolga card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Emolga cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.09 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.10 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Emolga cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 14 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 16 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 13 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 17 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

Who illustrated the different Black Bolt Emolga cards?

The regular card is illustrated by Tomowaka, while the illustration rare uses a separate illustration by Tomomi Ozaki. They are distinct artwork choices in Black Bolt.

Was Emolga 025/BW-P actually distributed at the 2011 Japanese championships?

No. It was planned as a Mirror Holofoil participation card, but the qualifying events were cancelled after the Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami. The planned distribution did not take place. Surviving copies are documented; a catalogue listing does not mean it was a normally released event promo.
