Claydol collecting questions

Can I use this as a Claydol master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 26 card listings and 48 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 25 card listings and 31 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Claydol collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Claydol, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Claydol Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.05 to $83.06 USD, across 23 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.08 to $30.00 USD, across 18 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Claydol card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Claydol cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.05 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.08 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Claydol cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 18 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 18 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 15 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 16 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

How can I distinguish Celebrations Claydol from the original 15/106?

The Celebrations Classic Collection reprint has the 25th Anniversary logo, Confetti Holofoil and textured etching. The Japanese anniversary version is 016/025 and has a red-and-gold 25th logo. The original design appeared in Great Encounters.

When was the League promo Claydol 15/106 released?

The League promotional printing was distributed for the Cynthia Season in December 2009. That is later than the original Great Encounters expansion, so the expansion’s 2008 date should not be used for this League copy.
