Charmeleon collecting questions

Can I use this as a Charmeleon master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 52 card listings and 76 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 48 card listings and 53 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Charmeleon collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Charmeleon, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Charmeleon Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.18 to $375.00 USD, across 38 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.14 to $70.00 USD, across 30 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Charmeleon card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Charmeleon cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.18 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.14 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Charmeleon cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 24 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 29 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 16 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 23 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

Are Charmeleon 99/97, 110/109 and 102/100 the same card?

EX Dragon 99/97 uses Mitsuhiro Arita’s illustration. EX Team Rocket Returns 110/109 is a secret box topper with different Ken Sugimori artwork.

Stormfront 102/100 instead revisits the Base Set Charmeleon design with redrawn Mitsuhiro Arita artwork. The collector numbers and expansion names identify distinct releases.

Where did Charmeleon’s 151 Cosmos Holo card come from?

The foil 151 Charmeleon was supplied in the Charizard ex Super-Premium Collection, released on 4 October 2024. It is separate from the ordinary 151 pack versions.

The earlier Charizard ex Premium Collection, released on 20 October 2023, supplied evolution cards from Obsidian Flames. The similar product names describe different releases.

Which Charmeleon is the 151 illustration rare?

The full-card illustration rare is 169/165, with artwork by miki kudo. The ordinary card is 005/165. Both have English and Japanese entries in the catalogue.

Use the number and language when comparing prices. A foil finish on 005/165 does not turn it into the 169/165 illustration rare.
