Aron collecting questions

Can I use this as a Aron master set checklist?

Use the free PDF or CSV to track the English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards in this collection, including listed promos, editions and holo variants. Each version has its own checkbox. “Master set” totals depend on which languages and printings you collect; this checklist covers the records currently listed here and does not guarantee every historical printing is included.

  • English: 24 card listings and 47 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
  • Japanese: 27 card listings and 37 checklist entries, including listed editions and finishes.
Does this list include every type of Aron collectible card?

This list covers English and Japanese Pokémon TCG cards named Aron, including named forms and owner’s Pokémon where available. It does not include TCG Pocket, Topps, Topsun, Carddass, other languages or cameos in another Pokémon’s artwork. Gallery additions and checklist counts follow the catalogue as it updates.

How much are Aron Pokémon cards worth?

Match the set, collector number, language, edition and finish before comparing values. Condition affects what a card sells for.

  • English: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.13 to $32.00 USD, across 23 distinct priced cards.
  • Japanese: listed raw-card estimates range from $0.10 to $24.99 USD, across 22 distinct priced cards.

Unpriced cards still appear in the checklist. Check each version’s observation date; older estimates may be out of date.

Are these raw Aron card values or PSA 10 prices?

These are estimated prices for raw, ungraded cards. PSA 10 and other graded cards have separate values. A raw estimate does not tell you what a PSA 10 copy is worth; compare recent sales of the exact card and grade.

What are the cheapest Aron cards to collect?
  • English: has the lowest available estimate at $0.13 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
  • Japanese: has the lowest available estimate at $0.10 USD. Open the card to check its price date and versions.
Which Aron cards can I collect for under US$5 or US$10?
  • English: 23 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 23 have one below US$10.
  • Japanese: 17 distinct cards have a listed version below US$5; 21 have one below US$10.

Each card counts once, using its cheapest priced version. Cards below US$5 also count below US$10. These budgets stay in US dollars when you change the display currency; compare exact versions and check the price dates before buying.

Why are there three Aron numbers in EX Ruby & Sapphire?

25/109, 49/109 and 50/109 are separate Aron cards. Their Japanese counterparts come from ADV Expansion Pack and the Mudkip Constructed Starter Deck. They should not be merged simply because they share a Pokémon and English set.

Where was Japanese Aron 136/BW-P distributed?

It was one of the cards in the June 2012 Gym Challenge promotional pack. Its individual release is 2012; the start date of the wider BW-P promo series is not its release date.
